INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account data: When you sign up, we collect your display name, email address, and a hashed password. Your display name is publicly visible.

Usage data: We log actions like sign-ups, logins, and sprite generations to maintain the service and prevent abuse. This includes IP addresses and user agent strings stored with sessions.

Generated content: Sprites you create are stored on our servers (Cloudflare R2) to provide download and display functionality.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• To provide and maintain the Sprite Mint service
• To manage your account, credits, and generated sprites
• To prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service
• To communicate service updates (email, if necessary)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

OpenAI: Your sprite prompts are sent to OpenAI's API for image generation. Refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy for how they handle this data.

Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare for hosting, database (D1), and file storage (R2). Refer to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Resend: We use Resend to send transactional emails (account verification, password resets). Refer to Resend's Privacy Policy.

DATA RETENTION

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Generated sprites are stored indefinitely unless you delete your account. Session data expires automatically after 7 days.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data and generated sprites will be permanently removed.

CHANGES

We may update this policy at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the service.
